Real estate was part of Jiali’s life before it became her career
Jiali’s perspective comes from both sides of the table: building a home and raising a family in New York, and helping hundreds of clients make housing decisions of their own.
Over the years, she has seen how a home that works well today can feel very different after a new job, a growing family, a school change, or simply a shift in how daily life is organized. That experience shapes the way she works with clients now: start with the life around the home, then make the real-estate decision.

Where Jiali’s experience runs deepest
First-time home buying
Buying a first home in New York comes with a steep learning curve. Jiali helps clients make sense of the process, compare properties and buildings, recognize risks that are easy to miss, and move from uncertainty toward a decision they understand and feel comfortable making.
Growing families
As families change, housing needs rarely change in just one way. Space, commute, childcare, school, neighborhood routines, and the possibility of moving again can all become part of the same decision. Jiali helps families look at those pieces together rather than one at a time.
Housing decisions shaped by school
School decisions can reshape where a family wants to live, how far parents are willing to commute, how pickup and after-school schedules work, and how much flexibility a home needs to provide. Jiali brings firsthand family experience to these conversations while keeping the focus where it belongs: on the housing decision.
A perspective shaped by family life
As a mother of two raising her family in New York, Jiali has experienced many of the same questions her clients face: how much space is enough, how school and commute affect each other, when a move is worth the disruption, and how quickly today’s priorities can change.
Her own experience does not replace a client’s circumstances. It simply helps her recognize the practical questions that are easy to overlook until they become part of everyday life.
Manhattan and Long Island City are at the center of Jiali’s work. She has also lived on the Upper West Side and in Midtown. Today, she and her husband own their home in Long Island City, where they are raising two children.

Experience that goes beyond the search
Finding the right property is only one part of a successful transaction.
Property & building judgment: Jiali helps clients evaluate apartments and buildings, identifying potential risks and trade-offs.
Pricing & negotiation: She assesses pricing and terms in the context of the market and the specific property, develops an offer strategy, and participates in negotiations.
From offer to closing: From the offer and entering into contract through closing, she follows key milestones and coordinates with everyone involved.

A relationship that can continue after closing
For Jiali, a successful transaction does not have to be the end of the relationship.
Many clients stay in touch long after closing — sometimes with another housing question, sometimes because their family or plans have changed, and sometimes simply because they want to know who Jiali trusts in New York.
She does not need to be the expert in everything to remain a useful person to call.
